FAQs of VideoByte Blu-ray Player
Registration Code
Q1. What to do if the registration code is invalid when I register the program?
First confirm that the product you are trying to register is the one you’ve purchased.
Make sure that you’ve entered every letter of your registration code correctly, and no space is allowed. Don’t leave any space before registration code and email address in registration box.
Don’t mix up the product version. There’re Windows and Mac versions separately which are totally different.
Q2. Can I use the program on another computer if I purchase single license?
No. One license code is for one computer only. If you want to get additional licenses for more than one computer, then contact us. We’ll offer you a multi-license discount.
Q3. What can I do if the license code is lost or forgotten?
If you forgot or lost your registration code, don’t worry, just go to the license retrieval page to get back your license code.
Q4. Can I transfer my registration code to another computer?
If you want to transfer your registration code to another computer, we can reset the registration code for you and then you can register the program on another computer again. Please send your order number and billing email address to the support team.
This process will only work with computers using the same operating system (either two Windows PCs or two Macs). If you want to use the same program on a computer with a different operating system, you’ll need to purchase a second registration key for the other OS.
Q5. The program shows error code 4104: "The registration code has been used early". How to fix it?
Usually, there will be an Error 4104 shown:
1. If you change or reinstall your computer.
2. If you use one license on more than one computer.
3. When you upgrade the program.
4. When you launch the program after a long period without using the program.
…
When you meet the error code 4104, you can contact the support team to reset the license code. Please remember to provide your order number and billing email address.
General Problem
Q1. How to play BD ISO files with your software?
To enjoy the Blu-ray ISO images, you need to install a virtual Blu-ray drive on your computer first.
Launch the virtual Blu-ray drive to load the Blu-ray ISO image file, and it can be regarded as a BD disc on your computer.
Then you can load the BD ISO file with our software and you will be able to watch the movie with 1080P HD video effect.
Q2. Why does VideoByte Blu-ray Player need Internet connection sometimes?
Blu-ray is a protected video format with region codes, layers of digital rights management, including AACS, and BD+, etc. to avoid being faked, copied, or retroactively applied to an unprotected medium. Cinavia Protection is also used in some Blu-ray movies to limit unauthorized uses on devices. If you want to play a Blu-ray disc on the computer, the Blu-ray player software will need to get keys or decrypting files, which need to be obtained from server online, for Blu-ray playback.
VideoByte Blu-ray Player also needs to access into Internet during Blu-ray disc decryption. This method is the best way to help all users save decrypting time and optimize our service.
Q3. Why the video freezes 4-5 seconds sometimes when I try to play a Blu-ray film?
When the VideoByte Blu-ray Player plays Blu-ray films, it needs about 4-5 seconds to remove the Blu-ray protection with the network. After that, the Internet connection will not be required anymore.
Q4. Can I set my default audio track language so that I don't have to choose it every time I play a BD?
One of the great advantages of the Blu-ray Disc is the amount of info stored on it.
Usually, the disc is already loaded with several languages for users from different countries, which cannot be changed by VideoSolo Blu-ray Player. So you cannot set your default language.
Q5. Does your software support 3D Blu-ray discs?
It’s a pity that VideoByte Blu-ray Player does not support 3D currently. If you load the 3D Blu-ray disc to the program, it will play as the common Blu-ray movie.
